Happy 2008 everyone! It's amazing, isn't it? Feels like just yesterday that we were ringing in 2007. I had a wonderful year. I spent a good part of the latter half shooting the designer dolls from the "6th Anniversary Blythe Charity Event".. what a thrill!! The outfits,
the make-up, everything about them was just amazing. It's an honor to be able to get to know them. A highlight to my year, of course was the annual charity fashion show.
Omotosando Hills was beyond anything I'd ever seen. The room was so grand and perfectly fitted for a princess! Of course when it was time to take a break I managed to shop at some of the cutest shops and eat at perhaps the yummiest ice cream store on the planet. How fantastic to have all of that under one roof!
An upcoming milestone for me this year is my son Carpenter's third birthday. I can't believe he's a 'big boy' already!! He's training to be my assistant now. When I go out on my shoots he helps me load my film and pack my dolls. He's so earnest and sweet about it. He walks me to the elevator and says 'have a great shoot!'
I wish you all health, love and much happiness in 2008. I sincerely look forward to seeing some of my old Blythe friends and meeting some new ones. Hugs and kisses from NYC!!
