Summer 2009 marked the second annual Singapore Toy, Games and Comic Convention, the premier comic and game festival in Singapore draws comic and toy mania fans from all around Asia.

The 2009 Blythe Beauty Contest dolls came to Singapore from August 13 to16.
The Singapore Blythe fans were able to marvel at the amazing creations from the Blythe Beauty Contest Finalists! The booth was in the style of a posh and kawaii pink boutique.

Blythe Creative Producer, Junko Wong brought a very special artist doll made by Japanese doll artist and member of Theater ALFORT, Miyuki Odani!
The Singaporean fans were inspired and in awe of Odani’s meticulous design and superb craftsmanship.

Singaporean doll artist, Freddy Tan made the rainbow of Blythe series for the exhibition, and a set of the four seasons of Blythe.
He was a favorite among all of the collectors.
Dollerina, was also there, the wonderful collaboration Blythe doll from Mindtrigger, and AliceAlice’, her amazing cotton candy style hair made all of the fans very excited!

There was special limited edition Blythe doll lotteries each day of the Comicon, and even a special chance for Blythe fans to meet Junko Wong at the booth signing!
Official Blythe Shop, Dollz Inc operated the limited shop and helped all of the fans to enjoy the fabulous display.

A special VIP Tea Party was hosted at the historic and luxurious Raffles Hotel!

The tea party was a relaxed and posh event for Blythe fans to interact with each other and participate in many fun games!
Tea Party guests were asked to dress up their Blythe for the Tea Party for a special “Miss Popularity” contest!
We saw fabulous designs from all of the talented Blythe fans, but the winner was two Blythe dolls who’s amazing ball gowns were made from real flowers!
Congratulations to Justin Koh and Leroy Diong, for winning “Miss Popularity”!
